Greetings Travelers —
Welcome back to The Stellar Edit, your weekly passport to thoughtfully chosen stays, exceptional hospitality, and destinations worthy of a place on your wander list.
This week, we are leaving the pulse of the Big Apple behind and heading to the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, where desert landscapes meet the Pacific.
There is a version of Los Cabos built around movement: reservations, beach clubs, nightlife, and a calendar that fills itself.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica offers something quieter.
Set on a secluded stretch of Pacific coastline within Quivira Los Cabos, this adults-only, all-inclusive retreat feels removed from Cabo’s familiar rhythm while remaining only minutes from downtown.
The landscape does much of the work: desert hills behind you, broad ocean views ahead, and enough space to let the days unfold slowly.
This week, we are looking at the room to book, the dinners worth leaving the pool for, and the resort-within-a-resort upgrade that changes the entire stay.

Stellar Picks
I just returned from an incredible week in St. Maarten, and while unpacking I realized these are the travel essentials I reach for on nearly every warm-weather getaway. Whether I'm spending the day by the pool, exploring a new island, or heading out for dinner at sunset, these are the pieces that always earn a spot in my suitcase.
🌊 OUAI Wave Spray | Straight From My Suitcase
I packed this on my recent trip to St. Maarten and reached for it almost every day. It gives my hair effortless texture and that relaxed, beachy look—perfect whether I'm heading to the pool or out for dinner at sunset.
✨ Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick l Perfect Vacation Glow
My favorite shortcut to a fresh, healthy glow. It's lightweight, blends beautifully, and gives that sun-kissed look long after you've returned home.
🕶️ Quay Polarized Sunglasses | My Go-To Vacation Shades
Comfortable enough to wear all day while exploring and polished enough for lunch by the water. They pair with everything and always make the cut for every trip.
👡 TKEES Sandals | The Shoes That Go With Everything
These barely take up any room in my suitcase and transition effortlessly from the beach to dinner. If I'm packing for a warm-weather destination, these are coming with me
Who This Is For
Book Pueblo Bonito Pacifica for a couples’ escape, a restorative long weekend, or an easy warm-weather trip where very little planning is required once you arrive.
It works especially well for travelers who appreciate adults-only quiet, oceanfront space, spa time, and the option to add a serious golf day without changing hotels.
The Pacific is dramatic here, and the resort experience is deliberately self-contained.

How Do We Get Here?
Fly into Los Cabos International Airport, then continue by private transfer to the resort.
Pacifica sits inside the Quivira Los Cabos development, close enough to Cabo San Lucas for an evening out, but sufficiently removed that returning to the property feels like leaving the noise behind.
The move: Arrange transportation before arrival and let the first real decision of the trip be pool or spa.
The Room Key
Deluxe Oceanview Room
Pairing soft neutral interiors with teak and native wood furnishings, creating a calm, understated retreat. Each room includes a private furnished terrace with unobstructed Pacific views, plus either one king bed or two queen beds for an easy, elegant stay by the sea in Cabo San Lucas.
The Splurge
The Towers
The clearest upgrade is The Towers, a resort-within-the-resort composed of 47 rooms and suites with private terraces.
Select suites have private plunge pools, and Towers accommodations include enhanced amenities and 24-hour butler service.
Guests also receive access to an oceanfront VIP lounge, while Península adds beachfront regional dining to the experience.
The Towers make sense for a milestone trip, a honeymoon, or a stay where privacy and service matter more than maximizing value.
Worth the splurge: A plunge-pool suite, particularly when the room itself is meant to be part of the holiday rather than simply where the day ends.
The Table
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica’s dining spans relaxed poolside lunches, polished seafood dinners, Baja-inspired plates, and destination-worthy steakhouse evenings, all within the wider Quivira resort experience.
Península Restaurant
Península moves easily from beachside lunch to polished evening drinks, pairing Baja-inspired plates with an indoor lounge, outdoor bar, DJ sets, live music, and a setting that feels social without disturbing Pacifica’s otherwise serene rhythm.
What To Order: Order seafood-forward tapas, then stay for a citrusy cocktail as live music begins after sunset.
Siempre
Siempre is the dependable all-day anchor, moving from breakfast buffet to lunch and dinner with international dishes sharpened by Mexican flavors. It is polished enough for evening, yet relaxed enough to revisit throughout the stay.
What To Order: Order a Mexican breakfast specialty, fresh ceviche at lunch, and the chef’s regional dinner recommendation.
Aire Restaurant & Aquabar
Aire keeps pool days wonderfully uninterrupted, serving regional specialties, lighter bites, and cocktails beside the water, while Aquabar lets guests swim directly to the bar. This is Pacifica dining at its most casual and practical.
What To Order: Order fish tacos, guacamole, and a chilled margarita without surrendering your perfectly positioned poolside lounger.
Pescados
Pescados brings a casually elegant change of pace, centering dinner on fresh seafood prepared as sashimi, maki, nigiri, and sushi. The mood is refined but unfussy, making it an easy choice for a quieter evening.
What To Order: Order the chef’s signature sashimi, a specialty maki, and whichever dessert sounds least predictable tonight.
Quivira Steakhouse
Quivira Steakhouse turns dinner into a destination, with indoor and outdoor seating at the golf club and a distinctly grown-up atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, and the surcharge makes this the resort’s clearest special-occasion table choice.
What To Order: Order a prime steak, a bold red wine, and something indulgent for dessert afterward together.
The Pools
Two inviting pools frame Pacifica’s laid-back days: the quieter beachfront Constellation Pool and a livelier main pool, complemented by a hot tub ideal for an unhurried soak after golf, spa time, or sunset cocktails nearby.
A Spa Moment
Armonia Spa
The place to slow the trip down further. The full-service spa offers massage and body treatments alongside a fitness center, beauty salon, and separate locker facilities.
It is not an incidental amenity here. Wellness is one of the resort’s defining threads. Book a treatment for late afternoon, after the pool begins to quiet and before dinner.
The Treatments
Journey of the Ancestral Guardians
A signature Baja-inspired ritual using sage, rosemary, and basil to restore balance while drawing on the healing traditions of the region’s original Pericú people.
Pre-Hispanic Ritual
Inspired by ancient temazcal ceremonies, this immersive treatment blends purification, sensory ritual, and traditional wellness practices for a deeper mind-and-body reset.
Dance of the Guardians
A synchronized four-hand massage designed to echo the movement of desert winds and Pacific waves. This is the spa’s most indulgent, performance-driven massage experience.
Tee Time
Quivira Golf Club
Home to a Jack Nicklaus–designed course set along the Baja landscape. The setting is a large part of the appeal: desert, cliffs, and Pacific views rather than a conventional resort-course backdrop.
One traveler can take the morning tee time while the other keeps a spa appointment, then meet later for lunch and a long afternoon by the pool.
Experiences
Sunset Teepee Experience
A private four-course beach dinner for two, complete with cocktails, music, and a resort photographer. Romantic without feeling theatrical, it turns Pacifica’s dramatic shoreline into the evening’s most memorable setting.
Baja Farm-to-Fork Dining Experience
This four-course orchard-to-table experience pairs Baja ingredients with wines from Valle de Guadalupe. Expect seafood, estate-grown produce, and a polished sense of place that feels distinctly rooted in the region.
Hook & Cook
Part fishing lesson, part ceviche workshop, Hook & Cook turns the day’s catch into a Baja lunch. It is interactive, unfussy, and best for guests who enjoy learning by doing.
Elana’s Take
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica succeeds by understanding that ease and refinement are not opposites.
The all-inclusive format removes friction, while the adults-only setting, secluded coastline, spa, and Quivira access give the resort a sense of purpose beyond simple convenience.
The design may be more classic resort than avant-garde hideaway, but the landscape and service are the reasons to come.
Book the main resort for a relaxed escape with strong value built into the stay.
Book The Towers when the occasion calls for more privacy, more space, and a butler who has already thought several steps ahead.
Until next week—travel beautifully. The next destination is already calling.
Warmly,
Elana
